| The first release on Forteana by Deep'a & Vek (with a remix by Chaim) was well received and played by a lot of dj's - the good ones anyway :) So, for the second vinyl release we made a sampler of the four upcoming releases. Artists featured will be EC50 (Holland), The Office (Colombia, remix by Tom Hades), Valyom° vs Mua (Belgium/Norway, International Deejay Gigolos, Teknotika,...) and Tek (Italy) |

EC50 are two young guys from Holland. The Kool Aid Vocal Mix of Jonestown is very loopy, very deep, slightly reminding you of thesound by Radio Slave or a bit Mobilee even. And all that deepness only enhanced by a priest sharing his gloomy view on the world of today.
The Office (from Colombia) was on our sublabel Coincidence with the original version of 'Ultimatum'. A massive minimal techno stomper that was a bomb on every dj set we did. Now the remixes are coming, and for the sampler we went for the remixby Tom Hades. Tom Hades needs hardly an introduction. Co-producer of Marco Bailey and a truely established name in techno, so weare extremely proud that he wanted to make a remix of The Office's "Ultimatum". Hades rips the original totally apart and has created a massive dancefloor monster that sets any dancefloor where we tested it on fire.
Valyom° vs Mua's track has an atmospheric 80ies feel to it and would work in, perhaps, a 'Dune' movie, part 3 - a good tune to stare out at a never ending sunset. Valyom was already musically active int he past under the name of DJ Valium, releasing with DJ Hell's label Gigolo Records and he wasalso the first Belgian artist to release music out of Detroit, with Teknotika. Mua has performed at many events throught Scandinavia and has even been invited to showcase his funky projects on Norwegian TV..
The original version of Echodreams was released on Bjorn Svin's Tech-nology label and was charted by Ricardo Villalobos amongst many others. But we love Ricardo so we just mentionhim. ;)
Tek is an Italian dj and producer who came to us highly recommended by Jose (The Office). He has a typical minimaltechno style that will go down very well with the fans of Donk Boys, Tom Dazing, Andre Crom or Lucio Aquilina, to name just a few...
